Meet Kristyn

A graduate of The University of North Texas with a BA in Art (she originally wanted to design wedding gowns!), Kristyn Potter began her career in the hospitality industry at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. This gave her a solid foundation providing luxury service of the highest standard to clients and colleagues, which she has carried throughout her career. She began planning conferences in the corporate world with an American multinational conglomerate. She then moved on to event planning, executive level support, and office management with global professional services firms. From C-suite client events, company parties and retreats, to corporate meetings and multi-day conferences for executive management, and annual company-wide Managing Partner summits, Kristyn honed her event planning skills and received rave reviews for her work. Though planning corporate events was always a part of her job for 15+ years, it wasn’t until planning her own wedding that Kristyn realized focusing exclusively on weddings and celebrations was her true passion. Thus, ACA Event Designs was born!

Kristyn’s creative nature and background gives her the ability to collaborate with clients so they can visualize their wedding day or event, and she then works backwards from there to create it. She can picture every detail that is required to achieve the perfect end result, which is a beautiful, stress-free, no-detail-too-small-is-missed dream day for all involved. She is tenacious, proactive, luxury service standard-driven, and she takes pride in her work. As one of her former bosses said, “At the end of the day, Kristyn just cares. She cares a lot…about the clients, about her work, about doing an amazing job, about the end result.”
